We are kicking off our first fundraiser this year! We plan to sell Little Caesar’s Pizza and Cookie Dough. This fundraiser has been a huge success in the past. I have had several families ask when I would be participating in this again. The pizza kits are an easy and delicious meal to have available for the family. This will be an online fundraiser. You will receive a link to share with family and friends. All orders are shipped to everyone’s home address. If you would prefer to give a donation instead of selling the kits, it will be completely fine. We plan to use the money raised to purchase items from each classroom wish list. The fundraiser will take place from November 1st – December 1st.

 

We will start working with the children on assessments this month. Once completed, we will send them home for you to review. The checklist lets us know where your child is struggling and gives you the opportunity to work with them at home. We are available for a conference if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s progress. Please let the teachers know and we will set up a convenient time to discuss this with you.

 

This month’s Safety Class will be on Choking, Strangulation & Suffocation Prevention. Medic Melaine will be teaching the children what to do to prevent this from happening. She also plans to bring the ambulance to show the children.

 

We will be closed on Wednesday, November 11th to observe Veteran’s Day.  Our Thanksgiving break will be Wednesday, November 25th – Friday, November 27th.

 

As a reminder, Amanda Watts is our parent representative on the Preschool Board. She attends the Preschool Board meetings each month and shares any concerns from parents at that time. You may email her at a.mathiason@yahoo.com, if you feel there is an issue that is not being addressed. She will bring this information to the next board meeting.
