It’s hard to believe the end of the school year is upon us.  We are so happy that we were able to complete a full year of preschool this year!  Many thanks to everyone who donated time, money, and talents to make this a great year for us!

We would like to celebrate by having an End of The Year Celebration.  This will take place at the Pavilion located beside the playground.  We plan to have Fat Frank’s Food Truck and Sunset Slush of Lake Norman on site.  We will also have an inflatable bounce house and slide.  This will be from 11 am – 1 pm on Friday, May 21st.   All children from the preschool are invited to attend this event.  If your child attends on Friday, you will need to either be available to take them to the Pavilion or pick them up before 11:00 am.  I will send home a list of prices for the food and slushies that will be for sale that day. I hope everyone can attend!

The four’s class has been practicing their songs for Graduation.  The Graduation Program is at 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 27th in the church sanctuary.  Only the graduating four-year-old class will be participating.  We are asking that only parents/guardians attend so that we still have room to practice social distancing.  The program will be recorded for those that are unable to be with us that day.  Our last day of preschool will be Wednesday, May 26th.

We are currently registering for the Summer Program.  The early registration fee will be $25.00.  After May 8th, the registration fee will be $35.00.  This fee reserves your child a spot in our Summer Program and is also used to cover the cost of supplies used.  You may choose which week works best for your summer schedule and pay only for that week or pay by the month.  Payments for that week will be due on the first preschool day of each month.  If you pay for all the weeks in one month, you will receive a $10.00 discount.  Classes are filling up fast!

Everyone should have received an email with a survey from the preschool.  You may need to check your junk mail or spam if you haven’t seen it.  We hope you take the time to complete this survey.  We value your opinion.  This helps us to remain the best preschool in the area!  Thanks to those who have already completed the survey!

We are sad to announce that this will be Mrs. Tracy’s last year working at the Preschool.  She has been employed at Mt Pleasant Preschool since 1998.  She is an asset to our program and will be greatly missed by all.  We want to thank her for the many years of service and wish her the best with her retirement.
