Preschool enrollment will open to the public this month. Some of the classes are already full with a waitlist. If you have not turned in your application and registration fee, your child will not be guaranteed their spot for the upcoming year. The registration fee is $75.00. We encourage you to take advantage of early registration and save $25.00. This fee will increase to $100.00 after June 30th. Enrollment packets may be picked up at the Preschool Office or on our website www.mtpleasantpreschool.com.

 

We would like to thank Sherrills Ford Pediatric Dentistry for coming to the preschool and discussing proper dental hygiene with the children last month.

 

We will be celebrating Dr Seuss’s birthday the week of March 2nd – 6th.  The children will be able to dress each day as follows:

Monday (Crazy Hair Day) wear crazy hair

Tuesday (Crazy Hair Day) wear crazy hair

Wednesday (Wacky Tacky Day) dress crazy

Thursday & Friday (Pajamas Day) wear your pj’s to preschool

 

Camerakidz will be taking our Spring/Graduation pictures on Monday, March 23rd and Tuesday, March 24th. I will have the cap and gowns for the four’s class ready for pictures that day.

 

Our Family Fun Day at Mountain Creek Park in Sherrills Ford will be on Friday, March 27th for all children and their families who attend preschool. Plan to arrive at the park by 12:00 pm. If your child attends preschool that day, they will need to be picked up by 11:30 am whether you plan to attend or not. The staff will be helping during this event and will not be responsible for your child.

Plan to bring lunch for you and your child. We will eat around 12:15 pm. You may also bring chairs and/or blanket to use. The shelter is reserved until 1:30 pm, but you are welcome to stay and play on the playground.

 

We are now registering for Summer Preschool. We have classes in June, July, and August. The Program is offered to children ages 2 – 5. We also have a class for K-2nd grade. This is for those FINISHING kindergarten – second grade. Classes are Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday’s. This will allow parents and staff to plan long weekend vacations. The early registration fee will be $45.00 which is due by May 1st. After May 1st, the registration fee will increase to $55.00. This fee reserves your child a spot in our Summer Program and helps with the cost of supplies needed. A copy of the summer dates is attached. You have the option of choosing which week’s work is best for your schedule. The cost is $70.00 a week. If you choose to send your child each week, you will receive a $10 discount for that month. The payment is due on the first day that your child attends preschool each month. We look forward to another fun summer at Mt Pleasant!
